Hosting Recommendations
We started these group of sites because we got tired of always seeing people ask for reviews on WebhostingTalk.com, Sitepoint.com, and other hosting related forums. We wish people would use the search button a bit more but alas, that is not always the case. So we collected all the reviews for them and sorted them for you to read. We also built in a way for you to submit your own reviews. We screen them to make sure they are legit and then post them to help future buyers who take the time to do research instead of jumping from bad host to bad host :)
Enjoy and let us know if you have any suggestions!

Review Policies
This site is a collection of reviews from around the internet on . We
classify each as positive or negative and divide it into the type of
hosting reviewed and if negative what the problem was. We mark it
resolved if a representative or the forum community involved came to
some sort of conclusion on the issue. If a review is submitted to us we
check to make sure it is by a real person and not a stooge for the
hosting company. We also try our best to get information out of people
on why they were mad or why they are happy so that readers get the best
reviews possible. We also run Certified Hosting Reviews and use its
verification outline to verify hosting reviews if you are interested.
Review Policy Outline From Certified Hosting Reviews:
Verifying a review involves a lot of checks. The following outlines the
basics, but we won't reveal all. This rundown should give a good idea
for what we do, but for the most part it's common sense combined with
some good net detective work.
1.) First Verification Step
In the first step of verifying a review we check the most obvious
tricks. We check to make sure the reviewer's domain is actually hosted
with this hosting service by using whois to check their DNS servers. We
also check past DNS servers to see where they have been and note any
recent or suspicious moves. We also see if their whois is protected and
compare their address on the whois to the host's location and make sure
the reviewer isn't from the same place as the host. We also check if
they recently changed their whois information and examine the web page
for recent changes or anything else that might provide a clue to
suspicious behavior. Using the reviewers IP we can see the the physical
location from which the review was placed and compare that to the
location of the hosting company. This first step runs down the obvious
tricks.
2.) Second Verification Step
In the second step we check the more sophisticated tricks. We check the
reviewers details and site details for reasons they might give a fake
review such as being an affiliate etc. This involves a lot of Google
searches, domain whois digging, address and location checks, and
digging into their site and any suspicious details it contains.
3.) Final Verification Step
In the final part of the process we bring together our results from the
previous steps. We consider all the factors, and make a final call
using our results and our judgment based on years of experience in the
hosting industry. We then post it knowing that it has been verified as
legitimate after an exhaustive examination.
